在这些draft当中,讨论的一个焦点问题,就是如何在MPLS-TP实现RFC 5860定义的OAM需求。目前主流的可选方案包括Y.1731+G-ACH和BFD+G-ACH,目前两种解决方案目前均有代表提交draft。由于争论双方在均在通信行业占有重要地位,并且两种方案均能够满足RFC 5860定义的OAM需求和原则,本文件认为最终IETF有可能采取折中的策略,将两类标准同时引入MPLS-TP的规范。
