The SDH Network Management System Engineer‘s general task is to support the CIT (a Network Element Management System) development team on all kinds of system engineering related topics. The major roles & responsibilities include:
§ Study network element requirements especially management interface requirements, and understand how the features are designed
§ Compose CIT requirements including the detail GUI interface according to the NE requirements
§ Ensure feature alignment between the network element and the CIT
§ Provide training to the CIT development team on the concepts of new features
§ Provide technical guide to the CIT development team from the design phase through implementation phase
§ Solve the SE or CIT Architecture related problems during the development phase
§ Review the CIT design documents as well as the management interface between CIT and NE
II. Qualifications:
· An MSc or Phd degree in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
· 3-8 years working experience in telecom product software development, with over 3 years network management system development experience
· 3-8 years working experience on Windows base C/C++/Java programming and GUI development
· Extensive knowledge on network management system and Info Model is required
· Telecom industry background with extensive SDH and Data related knowledge is preferred
· Experience on SDH product SW development is preferred
· Experience of Datacom system development (switch/router/ATM) is preferred
· Strong communication and presentation skills, both in English & Chinese
· Team player, able to motivate yourself and others
· Fluent (oral and written) in English and Chinese
