胆大妄为的问下 为什么要叫基站回传？

看了下基站回传的定义，对于GSM系统来说是BTS通过传输网传到BSC就叫基站回传
放肆的问句：这不就是传输么？基站设备通过传输网到核心网。
为啥还要取个这么蛋疼的名字backhaul
开始看字面意思还以为是基站到核心网后再回传回来到基站
这2个字把我搞死了
回传通常用来描述BTS和BSC 之间的有线部分：
