inmidtown’s Green Roofs /

inmidtown’s Retrofitting for Food project aims to create a more sustainable roofscape in Bloomsbury, Holborn and St Giles in the form of increased green roofs, greater biodiversity and the opportunity for businesses to grow food on their own roofs.

We are rolling out a plan utilising Pocket Habitats; sustainably made mini habitats for wild flower species that can thrive in the hard conditions of a London roof. They network together to form as much or as little coverage as required.

Would you like to be one of the first London businesses to have a roof top growing environment?  If you have some flat roof space, we will come and install the habitats, free of charge, and plant them up with a mix of wild flowers.  We can also help if you'd like to explore the options for growing your own food.

Do get in touch with us at if you’re interested, and send us a picture of your roof space if possible, so we can see how many Pocket Habitats you’ll need.
