Retrofitting for food /

inmidtown is working with the Centre for Sustainable Communities at the University of Hertfordshire to improve the food system in Bloomsbury, Holborn and St Giles by making it healthier, more sustainable and available for every budget.

We are looking at how food shapes spaces and we want to make some small interventions. We hope to engage with those of you who eat in the area to find out more about what you think is good and not so good about ‘food space’ in the inmidtown districts.  At the same time we are keen to start growing food and herbs on flat roof space and will explore ways to improve outdoor eating spaces for everybody to enjoy.

We are hoping to hear your views on ‘food-in-Midtown’: Where would you like to see a change? What is your regular lunchtime routine?  Are you interested in telling us how you think food fits in to the area’s future development?

This is an open invitation to make contact with us and share your views.  Please email any time.
